Position: Social Media Marketing Intern - Staff
Scope: Serve on the Marketing Team by helping create remarkable experiences for potential staff through Social Media
Marketing Team: The Marketing Team exists to help churches meet new people in their communities. We currently execute this through two main marketing functions: Digital Marketing and Church Recruiting.
Reports To: Marketing Communications Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Lead direct messages for new Staff Interviews
Lead Connect Camps Staff TikTok
Lead Connect Camps Staff social media engagement
Assist Staff Team Social Media with the Digital Marketing Coordinator
Assist with Social Media trend research
Assist with Social Media content calendar
Lead following Student Staffers
Assist with Social Media Ads
Attend one Trade Show for marketing purposes
Participate in Marketing Team Development opportunities from industry professionals
Requirements:
Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader
Summer Staff Experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, management, & organization
Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement
Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships
Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability
Ability to work with database & word processing software
Willing to learn and grow with CRM Platforms
Part-Time - Unpaid - 10 Hours per Week - Remote or In-person
