Position: Social Media Marketing Intern - Ministries

Scope: Serve on the Marketing Team by helping create remarkable experiences for Church Leaders following Connect Ministries through Social Media

Marketing Team: The Marketing Team exists to help churches meet new people in their communities. We currently execute this through two main marketing functions: Digital Marketing and Church Recruiting. 

Reports To: Marketing Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

• Assist Connect Ministries social media engagement 

• Lead communication and captions for Connect Ministries account

• Lead Planning special event live posting for events like Connect Conference, Staff Training, and Coaching Events

• Assist with Social Media trend research 

• Assist with Social Media content calendar for @connectmini

• Assist building the Communications grid for Connect Ministries

• Assist with Social Media Ads

• Attend one Trade Show for marketing purposes 

• Participate in Marketing Team Development opportunities from industry professionals

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

• Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

• Summer Staff Experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

• Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships

• Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

• Ability to work with database & word processing software

• Willing to learn and grow  with CRM Platforms
