Position: Marketing Communications Apprentice

Scope: Serve on the Marketing Team by assisting the leadership and execution of all Marketing Team strategies. 

Marketing Team: The Marketing Team exists to help churches meet new people in their communities. We currently execute this through two main marketing functions: Digital Marketing and Church Recruiting. 

Reports To: Marketing Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

• Lead organization of Church Host Hub assets for church hosts

• Assist with Host Hub usage and ideas for church hosts

• Organize new marketing box items for parent marketing

• Assist with minor graphics edits and video as needed 

• Organize and create graphics and videos for church hosts as needed

• Assist social media content and calendars for staff, churches and parent marketing

• Assist with Google Drive organization for the marketing team

• Organize digital communication and social media captions 

• Attend one Trade Show for marketing purposes 

• Participate in Marketing Team Development opportunities from industry professionals

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

• Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

• Summer Staff Experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

• Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships

• Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

• Ability to work with database & word processing software

• Willing to learn and grow  with CRM Platforms
