Position: Logistics Intern
Scope: Assists the Logistics Team in coordinating all Connect Camps logistics and Connect Ministries event logistics.
Logistics Team: The Logistics Team exists to create, activate, and manage clear processes, event logistics, and excellent customer service to efficiently support the experiences for families, churches, and staff.
Reports To: Logistics Specialist
Responsibilities:
Assists in reserving Connect Ministries event vendors
Steward of our consistent event vendor relationships
Assists in managing logistics for Connect Ministries’ events
Create Crew schedules behind the scenes of events
Assist in organizing event travel
Helps create processes for all Connect Camps logistics (safety, check-in, checkout, transitions, etc.)
Assist in writing manuals for Connect Camps summer staff team members
Write informative parent content to help them prepare for camp
Completes all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values and philosophy of Connect Ministries
Applicant must have completed his or her first-year of school by employment start date.
Applicant is coachable and teachable
Demonstrated experience in leadership
Demonstrated effective problem solving, analysis, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Demonstrated skills in Google Suite programs (google sheets, docs, etc.)
Recommended to have experience in event planning
Excellent written and oral communicator
Executer, see plans and projects through from start to finish
