Position: Host Development Intern
Scope: Serve on the Host Development Team as a Home Office Contact Support by assisting in the development and equipping of Host churches, so that they would achieve the mission of Connect Camps.
Staff Team: The Host Development Team builds and maintains relationships with Connect Camps Host Churches, equipping them to be healthy hosts (who form partnerships with other churches/organizations, maximize their Leadership Team and Connect Ministries resources, make their church visible to families, and effectively plug families back into their church).
Reports To: Host Development Specialist
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Home Office Contact Support for Host Churches
Assist development, organization, and communication within HDT Hotline email
Lead Customer Relationship Management System, ensuring up-to-date host information and timely communication
Lead weekly Host church visibility in the Connect Office
Lead Host Care and Celebrations
Lead development, integration, and organization of Typeform
Lead development of Connect Crew Resources
Lead Host Development record-keeping (Host goals, camp registration numbers, finances, etc)
Lead Connect Conference Host Profiles
Assist with monthly Host Development financial reports
Assist in monthly Host Webinars
Assist in coordinating Host Church partnership events
Assist in the Host Development Team Design Process
Assist in the innovation and development of Host Church training resources
Assist in the collection of Host Church deliverables throughout the year
Assist church camper registration communication
Assist Connect Gathering Host Church training conference
Evaluate Host Church development trends
Create and achieve personal and professional goals
Participate in monthly professional development opportunities as part of the Connect Development Program
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or work teams
Requirements:
Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader
Summer Staff Experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, management, & organization
Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement
Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability
Willing to learn and grow
Desire to innovate in ways that serve Connect Ministries’ mission
Part-Time - 10 Hours per Week - In-person
